Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Ltd consolidated sales down 2.51% on year in Q2FY2026 As on : 05-Aug-26  17:47

Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Ltd share price softened by 2.25% to Rs 464.3 after the company's net profit plunged by 34.48% to Rs 82.34 crore, while revenue from operations slipped slightly by 2.51% to Rs 1771.51 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Pig Iron industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 7472.52 crore, declining 2.51%. It has slipped by 2.06% over last one week and gained upto 2.52% in last one month while the market capitalization of Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Ltd has eased by 2.06% and 2.52% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Ltd stood at Rs 105.11 crore in Q2 FY26, crashing by 18.97% year-on-year, and tanking 38.10% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 198 crore, slipping 4.84% YoY and heading higher 10.04% sequentially. Total expenses marginally dropped 2.21% to Rs 1625.03 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 1005.07 crore, posting a minor increase of 2.57% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 98.87 crore, registering a growth of 8.71% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations tick up 4.94% to Rs 6888.57 crore, while net profit soared by 72.50% to Rs 507.22 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 71368% to Rs 779.36 crore, and PBT jumped 21.58% to Rs 496.65 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 941.98 crore in FY26, as against Rs 655.94 crore in FY25. Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Ltd tumbled by 15.87% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.20% during the same period.
